Baldasso Cortese was engaged to design a facility that would provide exceptional health care services for the indigenous community in the Goulburn Valley.
With a flood plain limiting the land available for development, master planning was undertaken to redefine traffic movement and create a formal address for the new facility.
Peaceful views of a beautiful forest reserve to the east were integrated into the design by breaking the building down into a number of parts. Colours, textures and materials create a strong visual ‘connection to the earth’.
This distinctive facility will be integral to the provision of superior health care to the local aboriginal community.
