The Edge Apartments

The Edge Apartments, located in the seaside town of Torquay, is the first 3 level retail and residential development on The Esplanade. A lengthy consultative process with the Council and local community facilitated the amendment of the local planning scheme to support projects of this scale on The Esplanade.
With sweeping coastal ocean views, the contemporary design integrates many environmentally sustainable design initiatives. Materials and finishes are well suited to the corrosive and harsh seaside environment.
The external facade features cantilevered canopies, vertical blades and extruded louvres for privacy and sun shading. The apartments have open plan layouts, chic interiors and generous balconies conducive to an enjoyable seaside lifestyle.
