Ashwood High School was one of the first to introduce collaborative groups. We needed to design new facilities to support this new way of teaching and learning.
Baldasso Cortese organised workshops with the staff and students to create a masterplan which embraced this educational model.
A new concept of Learning Communities evolved. Each community has a range of spaces designed to be autonomous and accommodate varying educational needs - free-flowing spaces with immediate access to staff areas as well as meeting and outdoor learning areas.
