The Australian National Aviation Museum was seeking to upgrade its current facilities into an exemplary aviation museum to house its large and diverse collection of historic civil and military aircraft.
The main entry to the museum includes an exciting open reception area with areas for information, ticketing, assembly area for tours, souvenir purchases, library for public use and public amenities.
An aviation environment is suggested through the use of silver metallic wall panelling, seamless glazing and the inclusion of a symbolic wing and turbine imagery in the main entrance to the building.
