We are pleased to announce that effective from 1 August 2019, Doig Architecture Pty Ltd and Doig Retail Pty Ltd, collectively referred to as Doig Group, have merged with Baldasso Cortese Pty Ltd.

Executives of both groups have signed a deal which unifies the two highly respected Architectural and Interior Design practices, merging them into a single entity with the support of each company’s current Clients.

Peter Doig brings to Baldasso Cortese over 40 years of local and international experience and, along with his team, a portfolio of High Rise, Multi-Residential, Shopping Centre, Commercial and Hotel projects.

This merger adds to the well-established experience and expertise of Baldasso Cortese in their portfolio of Aged Care, Healthcare, Schools, Tertiary, Residential, Commercial and Retail, and strongly positions Baldasso Cortese as a leader in its key markets.

“Our two organisations have had a working relationship for several years and a merger is a natural and synergistic progression of this relationship.” said Anthony Baldasso, Executive Chair of Baldasso Cortese.

The teams are now co-located within Baldasso Cortese’s offices in Collingwood, and will work within the “One Team” culture of Baldasso Cortese.

“This merger significantly grows both the expertise and capacity within Baldasso Cortese to better serve our clients, expanding the reach of the company into a more diverse range of sectors and project types. The initiative responds to the intent of our longstanding Strategic Plan to strengthen our practice through meaningful growth and diversification. We are already seeing the advantages of combining our shared competencies to the benefit of our clients, consultants and work colleagues” said Andy Scott, CEO of Baldasso Cortese.

Peter Doig joins Baldasso Cortese as a Partner and has commented that, “This initiative offers our Clients access to a company with a greater reach of complex projects types, where compatible and competing demands often have to be resolved to generate successful mixed use outcomes, and our experience in multiple, distinctly different fields is a powerful asset in this endeavour.”

Thank you for your continued support.
