We are very excited to announce that work has now commenced at Padua College on the new Senior Learning Centre, with Devco Project & Construction Management on site working through demolition of an existing classroom block and excavation works prior to Christmas.
This building is the first of two senior school pastoral hubs, and marks the commencement of their 2016 masterplan rollout. In 2019, it will accommodate half of the senior cohort across three levels, in 18x new flexible classrooms, an exam room, a 260-seat lecture theatre, meeting/seminar rooms, indoor and outdoor study areas, presentation spaces, staff work areas, amenities and a new seniors’ reception. The building will link back to the current Administration Building and the Library Hub.
Fr. Laurie from the local diocese was present at the first site meeting on 3rd November, along with College Principal Anthony Banks, Business Manager Russell Saunders, Property Manager Bart Ryan, Vicki Leo and Nic Lymn from the Baldasso Cortese team.
