Construction is gathering pace at TLC's Clifton Hill Aged Care’s new Clifton Views, their flagship development located on busy Queens Parade in Clifton Hill, Melbourne.
The 10 level facility, designed by Baldasso Cortese architects, has been conceived as an Integrated Health Care Hub. It combines premium residential aged care for 123 senior persons, with community accessible primary health care services located on its ground floor. The project has already won international praise at the recent Over 50s Global Housing Awards by taking out “The Most Innovative Aged Care Housing Design Globally”.
Clifton Views broadly embraces innovation, through its model of care, detailed design and community integration. Both TLC’s residents and surrounding neighbours will be able to take advantage of the building’s integrated physiotherapy, medical GP and pathology services. Extensive landscaped terraces will provide residents, visitors and staff with sweeping views over Melbourne and the surrounding hills.
The building will be Australia’s first dedicated aged care facility that is over 25m in height. Our design incorporates a collection of innovative active and passive features to meet stringent safety requirements.
Clifton Views is being built by the team at Kane Constructions. It will reach its full height this November. Completion will be in Q3 2018.
Updates will follow as the building continues to evolve.
