Oscar Romero is a Primary School in the growth suburb of Craigieburn, north of Melbourne’s CBD. The new facility accommodates for over 175 students in seven learning areas, with connecting shared breakout zones, amenities, a central wet area, a tiered presentation space, general administration and a community space.
The facility focuses on modern learning initiatives with the inclusion of large glazed sliding doors which promote flexibility and connectivity, and a range of spaces to encourage multiple opportunities for teaching and learning to occur. Landscaping design will be integral in encouraging outdoor learning spaces, and outdoor play.
The facility is due for completion end of the year.
