St Joseph’s Primary School in Boronia has been transformed from a typical early 1960s school building into a light-filled, contemporary learning centre. Taking its cue from the form of the existing building, the large skillion roof lends a graphic silhouette to the multi-purpose space. The new addition comprises of a kitchen and dining room, theatre, library, parents lounge, teacher planning and conference room, music space, archival storage area as well as amenities. The school was committed to developing a partnership between the school, home, community and business that was beneficial to the student education and well-being.
